Forest floor
The thick, messy, forest floor is a magical and complex cycle of decay and growth. Layers of decomposing organic matter storing carbon, a fertile bed for new growth, habitats for endangered species and a natural filtering system. Forest ecosystems are complex living and breathing, cyclic, fragile organisms that need to be protected.
